The food was fresh and good but the rolls are too small for the price. I felt I bought enough food based on our usual orders and people was hungry after eating everything

the food was decent but meat for the teryaki was overcooked. I was shocked to see both a aservice fee and 10% tip on a take out order though.

This my second try after my first over a year ago of Sushi on Gerard. I won’t make the mistake of trying again. So many places that are better that I don’t have to eat this kinda sushi in Toronto.

We usually very much enjoy Sushi on Gerard for the freshness of the product. Nevertheless, tonight, Nov 29, we were a bit disappointed. The sushi rice was not properly cooked - and this is really the basic foundation for good sushi. Otherwise, the shredded horseradish was not fresh. We usually eat it, but not tonight. Hopefully, this was just a mishap and we will be able to stay with this favourite sushi place. This is meant to be a constructive critic. Hard to build customers’ fidelity, easy to lose.
