The Unagi - freshwater eel - was the true savoury treat I was truly scoring for - absolutely DELICIOUS! The rest of my order? As this was my very first time placing an order with Sushi on Gerrard, I’m doubly looking forward to my next one. Domo Itamae!!

For the most part, the food is of consistent quality, if a bit expensive. We're frequent sushi/sashimi eaters so we will continue to explore other restaurants in our neighborhood, though Sushi on Gerrard is the closest. I just don't get the feeling that we're appreciated as customers and would rather have a relationship with a local sushi place that values our business.

Excellent sushi & sashimi! 5 stars for Sushi on Gerrard's authentic sashimi & sushi. Highly recommend if you want quality!
